Bev Amaechi

Bev Amaechi

CEO

Bev is co-founder and CEO at Player Voice, CIC. She has worked in the fields of youth and adult participation for over 25 years, overseeing youth engagement strategies and working directly with young people to enable them to express their views, influence policies and make impact at community and national level, from community-based Youth Forums to the UK Youth Parliament.

Bev has also worked in adult participation and worked with statutory and charitable organisations to set up systems so children and young people can meaningfully influence service development and policy, which includes being a trained child’s advocate working with Looked After Children.

Bev is a Mum to a young adult professional footballer and as her son progressed through the academy system at both Arsenal and Fulham FC, she saw the immense need for an organisation that was an independent voice, and had the best interest of the child and young person at its core. This is where the concept for Player Voice began with Solomon and Delali.
